Here are some FAQ about the KAP Program: Q1: What is the annual school fee for KAP? A1: Each school is billed $3,000 in mid-August for the coming school year. Q2: What is the annual fee for each KAP course? A2: Each KAP course requires a $120.00 fee. Q3: When is each school billed for its student fees? A3: The bills are sent to school heads and principals in December. Q4: How do I obtain a Kenyon transcript for my KAP courses? A4: You must submit a Transcript Request form to the Kenyon Registrar with your signature on it and the address of the school you wish to send it to. There is a $5.00 fee for each request. Q5: How does my school add a KAP course and instructor to our KAP program? A5: The directions for this process may be found under "New KAP Faculty"; "New Course Guidelines"; "New KAP Course Offering". Q6: How do I obtain a syllabus for my KAP class? A6: On the main kaphelp menu you will find two "Courses & Syllabi" tabs. The first link is KAP Syllabi. You can also find it on the left hand menu. Q7: How do I enter grades for my KAP students? A7: Follow these instructions. Q8: How do I submit my KAP course syllabus so that it can be posted online? A8: Enter data here and upload your .doc file. Q10: How much credit do I earn for a KAP course?A10: 1 Kenyon credit is equal to 8 semester hours or 12 quarter hours. See each course description for particular courses. Q11: What is the maximum number of credits I can earn through KAP? A11: Kenyon College limits each student to three KAP credits. The only exception is for those students who take a laboratory science and earn 3.5 credits. Any student who "over-enrolls" will be informed and asked to drop a KAP course by the Registrar.
