Kenyon Faculty Duties PDF
Kenyon's faculty representatives to KAP are expected to work to strengthen the program in all aspects. In particular, each representative should work closely with the faculty of each school to maintain a close rapport and to insure that the highest academic standards are maintained in the program. The College is dependent on its representatives for ensuring that the standards it claims for the program are in fact being met.

1. Conduct the summer workshop.

2. Coordinate a visit to Kenyon by the schools in the fall, if necessary for the course.

3.  Plan and convene Fall Convocation.  Take attendence and submit attendence form to Co-Director.(No honoraria will be paid without attendence form).

4. Visit the class and course teachers in each school either in the fall or early spring.  Submit reports of these visits to Co-Director.

5. Submit an annual report in June of each year outlining all KAP activity at both Kenyon and high schools. Include brief descriptions of the nature of the contacts.

6. Meet with the Steering Committee representative to discuss the program.

7. Communicate regularly with the school teachers to answer questions, provide moral support, and insure uniform academic standards through evaluation of test and essay materials and through cross-grading exercises.
