KAP bills twice a year: once for the annual school fee payment and once for the student fees. You will find information on both procedures below. SCHOOL FEE: The annual fee for school participation in KAP is $3,000 per school. This is due by August 15 of each year. STUDENT COURSE FEES: The fee for each KAP course is $110.00. Students at independent schools who pay less than 1/3 of their tuition or students at public schools whose parents or guardians receive Public Assistance, SSDI, or State of Ohio unemployment benefits, pay a course fee of $50.00. Students applying for the reduced course fee must provide documentation of their status. Download the KAP Financial Aid form here Schools should begin collecting these fees as early in the year as possible. Steering Committee Representatives will receive an initial invoice for Student Course fees by November 15. They will be notified of unpaid fees in monthly statements thereafter. Students who fail to pay their fees will be dropped from the KAP course and will not receive KAP/Kenyon credit. This fee may not be paid after the fact. Students who are enrolled in a KAP course as Probationary students pay the normal course fee. Students who withdraw from the course before November 15 do not have to pay a course fee. Each check should have the student and course name indicated in the check memo section. All checks and money orders should be made out to: KAP/Kenyon Account. All checks submitted to KAP must be accompanied by the appropriate class lists, indicating which students have paid their fees up to that time. All bundles of checks should be accompanied by a tally sheet indicating the total sum of that bundle. It is prudent to send these checks as Certified Mail. |
